I know the Resident Hotel - we have been staying in that area actually Soho Square since the 1980's -as we feel comfortable there-close to supermarket, theatrs, chinatown, tube station TCR -actually everything.and its safe.

Thanks northie, and the Resident did confirm they have an accessible entrance, accessible rooms (although my MIL doesn't generally request those) and lifts. Looks like that may be the winner.
And FYI for all, TFL replied to my email and said my MIL's mobility scooter is accepted on the tube, other TFL trains and should be suitable for buses. She uses the Solax Mobility Mobie Plus model as an FYI for anyone else who may have something similar.

I am a Premier Inn fan, but if you are looking for somewhere with kitchenette, check the prices for Citadines in Trafalgar Square, Holborn or Islington. I know they are more expensive than they used to be, but could tick the boxes and cost less on taxis

Thanks uktravelover, we actually booked The Resident Soho a few days ago and prepaid, fingers crossed that it will be a good experience. The staff who responded to my email queries were certainly prompt and friendly. Will keep Citadines on file for future trips!

Hi, I saw your post and wondered how your stay was at The Resident Soho? I'm looking at The Resident - Kensington or Victoria. I do not believe either have air conditioning. I am going mid June and it can sometimes be hot but also drowns out any city noise. Thanks.
