Rue de Levis is a major market street, so rarely empty -- otherwise, the snooty neighborhood around it is totally deserted in the evening, and I would much prefer being in a lower income neighborhood where lots of people walk around.

Just a small correction to Margaretlb - it's the Parc Ranelagh (in case someone was looking for the Marmottan). ;0)

I'm sure Underhill meant the Musée Jacquemart-André.
