Things to Do in Brussels?

Does anyone have any suggestions for things to do for an afternoon of sightseeing in Brussels? We will just be passing through but wanted to spend an afternoon in the city to take in some of the sights. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

If you only have an afternoon, I would recommend spending your bried time in and around the Grand Square (and maybe see the Mannekin Pis statue).

This might give you some ideas

If it's only an afternoon, I'd stick to the Grand Place, then go to the Galeries Saint-Hubert for a look and some shopping and then go to the Sablon for some coffee.

I'd sit and have a beer on the Grand Place if the weather is good (I wish I were still sitting there!) and I'd be sure to eat mussels and I'd be sure to eat Mary's chocolate.
