I would appreciate theatre suggestions particularly from anyone who has an idea of what is already available in New York City, where I live. <BR> What are the most exciting dramas? Comedies? Shakespeare productions? Anything that's not FROM New York, or playing there!!

I would like theatre suggestions for LONDON!!--thanks for asking. I was thinking this was a London board.

Definitely My Fair Lady at Drury Lane. Noises Off is really excellent - starring Lynn Redgrave. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof starts in Sept - starring Brendan Fraser. The Royal Family (about a theatre family - not the Queen)with Judi Dench opens the later half of October. <BR> <BR>There are too many others to list - anything at the National, several Fringe (the equivelent of Off Broadway) theatres

I was looking for the same info a few weeks ago and I found a helpful website by typing in something like "where can I find theater information for London?" on askjeeves.com. <BR> <BR>I am sorry I can't remember the website's name. Like you we wanted plays that you can't see in NYC. Since we could not find any for the time we planned to be in London we decided not to go then. (We were surprised we could not find anything we wanted to see since we have made a few trips to London for theater. <BR> <BR>Have you been to the Globe? You can see Shakespeare there. I highly recommend, however, that you go to see the Royal Shakespeare Co at Stratford Upon Avon. It's incredible.

The website www.allthingsbritish.com has several theatre links. Time Out magazine, available all over London, is a weekly entertainment magazine that lists all the theatres - West End, Off-West End and fringe.
