the red double-decker parisbus

We are traveling to France next month. Should we take the 4.5 hour Paris tour or the PARISBUS. The Parisbus voucher is valid for 2 days and it has 9 stops. Does anyone know the price of the Parisbus or the stops.

Gene, the red bus cost $20US & does make 9 stops, at the more downtown areas. There is another double decker bus that has several routes & covers areas such as Momart? & other areas. I used it last year @ $35 but saw an ad last week for $20, I guess to meet the new competition. It's a good easy way to view the sights & if you have time get off & then back on as you wish. Have a great time!

Gene, my husband and I took Parisbus last year and really enjoyed it. It was my husbands first trip to Paris and he is one of those people who doesn't like to feel lost. The Parisbus gave a great overview of the city and it was nice to be able to hop on or off where ever and have the flexibility of 2 days in which to see everything. We used it a lot! And really enjoyed the kind of hokey narration.

Is that red Parisbus one that allows you to hop on and off for the set price, like th Green& Cream ones in England? I,too, would like to know what the stops (sights) are. Web site anyone? Thanks

The "other" hop on/hop off buses are L'Opentour (for complete information including prices and routes go to www.ratp.fr). The route is much more extensive. An especially nice advantage of this tour is that there's a stop right at the finicular to Sacre Coeur. In the nice weather, the top of the open air buses is a fabulous way to see Paris and a terrific way to get a lot of really good photos (you're above the vehicles).
