If you want are looking for a "relaxing" vacation, where you can lay out on the beach by day and stroll through a charming town in the evening and watch. I would definitely recommend Dubrovnik. The water is incredible and it is beautiful. If you are looking to stay at an "upscale" place, that is "right" on the water I suggest Villa Dubrovnik.
