This is an old thread, but must ask seeing I have been given the opportunity and want to understand.
Caladrius, are you saying that you only study history for one year in senior school? Thereafter it's optional? Or not taught at all?
Hope you can come back and enlighten me.

Oh, no, just that we studied US history for only one year. Freshmen had world history, actually you can choose whether to take it then or the next year, juniors had US history, and seniors had government. Least at that school. Not sure what other schools do.
