The Ligurian Coast

<BR>Traveling to Italy in mid-July with my wife.25th <BR>anniversary trip.Need info on Cinque Terre. <BR>We are driving, so anything is possible!

Sal, Not much time left--do you have reservations? <BR>I prefer staying at Portovenere or Levanto to <BR>access the C.T.. In Porto., go find the Paradiso <BR>or the G.H. Portovenere---both have web pages. <BR>I love this area, but there is alot more to it <BR>than the Rick Steves version. You will be there <BR>during high season so good luck---every USA tourist <BR>in Italy will find it now.

I do know that hotel---great location near the <BR>station, but a little rough around the edges. <BR>How did you find it?? You are in a good place to <BR>explore the enire C.T.----GOOD LUCK

If you have a reservation anywhere in the Cinque Terre--go for it! Bring your hiking shoes--lots of walking and almost any trattoria is good. All will have menus posted or ask to see one before sitting down--this is very acceptable--eating is important to Italians. Ligurian cooking tends to be a lot of seafood--yummy! <BR>
