Getting a bit desperate, we leave in 3 weeks and this will be one of our first stops and its a bank holiday weekend (& that pesky wedding), so I know I should get something booked.

I've found this place and it seems good, we really want to stay 'in' the park, so this looks like a good option. It is £70per room per night. I'll have dd & her fella with us. Does this sound reasonable?

Thanks so much for any first hand ideas.

I booked this place............they were lovely to deal with, fingers crossed.

i had a better look at their website [a bit messy but loads of info] and it looks very nice. B&Bs are taken so much on trust aren't they? but we have rarely come across a duff one.

to answer my own q on another of your threads, [I clicked on your screen-name to make sure I'd found all of them] I see that you arrive at the end of April just as we are leaving! shame!

don't delay with the train tickets, if that's what DD decides to do. the prices go up the closer you get to the day of travel and if trains are on a lesser service on the bank hol, they will fill up fast too.

The place gets good Tripadvisor.com reviews and hey it is only a bed...........gulp.

aussie, we are going "up country" from wed 27th to May 2nd, starting in the Yorkshire Dales and returning via Aberystwyth so we can drop DS back at uni in Lampeter [about an hour's drive from Aberystwyth I hope] on our way home.

we will be back in cornwall on May 2nd - will you have left by then or will you still be here?

if nothing else, Dartmeet is very pretty.
