The countdown begins....

3weeks from today we will be landing in Paris. This is trip #8,I am getting so excited. All the planning, reading so many reports...We will be staying for 2 weeks.I have booked a few cooking classes, the ballet,a visit to a cheese shop.We do leave time to just sit and watch the world go by,either at a cafe or in one of the many beautiful parks. We will be in the apartment we rented June 9-24.Why does the time fly when we r there?I have signed my husband and myself up to a cooking class at Reed, and a baguette making class,(that one is really for Bill,he can make a pretty good croissant, but needs help with his baguettes)

Lucky you! I don't get to go to Europe again until next year. I am going to Hawaii in November, but I don't enjoy that as much as I do Europe. I think this will be my last Hawaii trip. Instead I'll see if I can scrounge up enough money to go to Europe twice a year.

I leave Tuesday night for Paris for a week. Can't wait and am about as "unplanned" as possible. Spent some time this weekend trying to plan what I want to do, but....

I understand your excitement, lainie -- I leave this Friday for 2 1/2 weeks. And even with 10 days planned for Paris, I know it won't be "enough!" It'll be trip #10 for me -- I think whether it's our first visit or 20th, the excitement level is high.

Fodorites love Paris and really love posting about it. This is good for all of us who keep returning to this gorgeous city.

We don't return until Sept. but my excitement level is gaining every time I read a new post.

All of you have wonderful trips and we'll be watching for your TR's to get new ideas on restaurants and things to do.

Thanks for posting and increasing the excitement for those of us soon to go. We leave in 5 weeks for a two-week stay and have much help from fodorites. Planning is almost as much fun as the trip itself.

This summer, I am trying 6 weeks in Italy and I leave in 5 days and I am very excited,
but I will miss my annual trek to Paris. Would love to hear about the cooking
classes. I am taking cooking classes in Florence. Have fun! Johanna
