Hi Scatlett, A brand new Lexus GX 470 with a big red bow on it.

But the best present of all is spending these two days with our immediate and extended families. We LOVE our children and grandchildren.

My pooch got a quilted Roots ski vest from one of her doggie friends. She looks really cute in it. And believe me, it's so cold up here, she will be very happy to wear it. She has various winter coats, but she will be the bees knees in her Roots vest!

Scarlett: It's Silver Pine. Great vehicle for these snowy Connecticut winters.

Santa Baby gave us a new digital camera and a getaway complete with massages and at the Post Ranch Inn.quot;>

I got U2's new cd and am listening to it now. MESMERIZING.

Santa gave Boris and Basil, the lovebirds a fancy new mirror with play toys for them to preen in front of.

Cheers to all!

U2's boxed CD set? If so,cool!

Santa brought us a 42" hdtv plasma t.v., so I FINALLY got to move the living room furniture around the way I wanted to for the last 5 years! Yeah! Now we don't need to travel anywhere except to the bathroom.

Surfergirl,
Not the boxed set, but the new "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" disc. They've not sounded this good since the early 80s.

ennayllen, stop being such an ass and get a life.

You are making a damn fool of yourself with all your silly crapola.

This is not the place to try and work out your severe emotional problems - seek medical assistance ASAP! And take your meds every day!

Santa gave me and DH a quiet, peaceful Christmas at home. Unlike most Christmases, we did not have to travel this year and it was a refreshing change. I have also been blessed with another year of life, something one should never take for granted. I got some material things too, but what's mentioned above is what really matters.

As for my pup, DH bought her a new stuffed toy with long, green hair. Within an hour she had made such a mess by tearing off the green hair that DH decided it was time to shave the toy's head. He did, and my pup still loves her toy just as much.

Merry Christmas all, and Thanks Santa!

DH and I did pretty well, as did our kitty babies, although I think for now they enjoyed the tissue more than the gifts!

No vacations, but tickets for a couple trips to the theatre were received, as well as a prized Wusthoff Santoku knife I had been coveting while watching Rachel Ray cook on TV! I guess now I'll have to make dinner once in awhile! Hmm...

Surfergirl, we're all coming over for movie night! Great present!

ennayllen, what's with the references to the not-so-nice side of fiery Scarlett O'Hara? Not the right post for that kind of stuff....and the "Yankee" making a good beard for you?! Fortunately, Scarlett is not offended, showing she indeed has a merry and kind spirit.

Thank you dear Huitres for the kind words.

How can I be offended?? I do not know this deranged person and it does not know me, so how can it offend me?

Scarlett, Santa was very good to me this year. Lots of travel-themed gifts which I love! Among them are a candle with a scent called "Monet's Garden," a calendar of the streets of Paris, a great big coffee table book of Paris, and my two favorites, a scarf knitted by a well-traveled cosmopolitan friend of mine, done in imported yarn (naturellement) and from my dear sweet husband, a Herend chocolate pot which I shall fill with cocoa from Angelina's in Paris after I get back from the next trip!

As you can tell, everyone I love picked up on my Paris madness this year and accomodated me with wonderful thoughtful presents.

Such delights!
Kisses and thanks!
A few of my favorites:
A gold & silver braclet
designed just for me from Mr.R5,
a spa gift certificate,a travel
bag for all my lotions and potions
that hangs from a door or towel hook
with a surprise Trip hint inside-
(oh goody!)
Now, Scarlett, I want to know where
the Yankee is whisking you away to ???
