Does anyone know how to pronounce this area in Rome?

It is "testAcho," with the accent falling on the "a," pronounced like the "a" in "father."<BR><BR>M

Right! The emphasis is always on the pentultimate syllable next to the last). It hard to do consistently, you almost have to get into a rythum of sorts. It is really something to listen to though

Actually, the stress often isn't on the penultimate syllable (e.g, tipico, facile, vedere, proprio, vorrei), but it is in this case.

Sorry, I really didn't mean to sound argumentative. The stress usually is on the penultimate syllable, just not always.
