Yes, I guess so, but when you see headings like "Terrorism in Europe", it's too FOX TV for me. Sensational blathering, fear mongering. Considering how many people live in the European community who are not terriosts and who are not affected by terrorism. Are we living in constant fear?

It's like me starting a new thread: "Terrorism in the USA - We are scheduled to take a trip to New York in three weeks time. Am a little nervous about the city being on red alert since November 2001. What does everyone else think? Would any of you cancel your trip?"

I was just at Heathrow. Though we were warned about increased security before landing, I couldn't see anything was different. No lines at security, but that may be because it was early on Sunday morning. Just the same security check as always.

@Debbielynn, I was in London a lot during the height of the IRA bombing campaign. I travel to Israel quite a lot. I see it's already been pointed out that statistically it's just not very likely they'll be killed by terrorists.

With which he is going to find no end of legal difficulties in the details, and may therefore not get through parliament, or if he does will find the issue embroiled in the courts, at least in those terms. He no doubt sees it to his electoral advantage to have that sort of row in the run-up to next May. Who knows, we might even see a draft of the revisions to the Human Rights Act he's been promising for the last ten years.
