Terminal Troubles CdG/ London

we have a very early flight from CDG to London on British airways, connecting with our US flight. we plan to stay at airport but I cannot find which terminal for departure and which hotel is the most convenient. I have tried BA website..waste of time..and after 45 minutes on hold trying for a live person I gave up.Any help would be appreciated.

Try this one:
http://paris-cdg.com/

BA seems to fly from Terminal 1.
You'll also find some hotels close to CdG.

Jody,

Closest hotels to terminal 1 (which BA uses) at CDG are in the so-called Roissypole area clustered around the terminal 1 RER train station.

They include:
- Hilton (the newest and best I guess)
- Sofitel
- Novotel
- Ibis (Ibis Paris Charles de Gaulle: Aéroport - Gares)

All of these (except the Hilton) can be booked at:
www.accorhotels.com
Enter "Roissy" as location.

Hope this helps,
Andre

There is also a Sheraton in the airport terminal 2. Their free shuttle will take you to your terminal in the morning.

Elvira,

True, but the Sheraton is by far the most expensive hotel at CDG and actually much less convenient to terminal 1 than the ones at Roissypole.

Andre

Most of the listed hotels have a free shuttle to the terminals -- just check with the front desk.

I have reservations at the Comfort Inn at (near) CDG for our last night... very cheap ($49)...free shuttle to the airport. I just couldn't see spending my most expensive hotel night at the Hilton or Sheraton at the airport!

Boo: Yes the b at the end of Boo and the e in something.

British Air is as decent an airline as most and certainly better than some. Customer service is superb; food? which airline's is good?; and what's that got to do with CDG terminal/hotel info?

Many thanks to all of you...I thought it strange that the CDG website only listed 2 Holiday Inns and a Hyatt ... will check Andre's and others suggestions.

Boo I quite agree with you ,the service on BA has declined so dramatically that I no longer use their Executive club or charge card. But I had 95,000 FF miles and wanted to use them up!They are impossible to get on the phone and their website is not that user friendly!Unfortunately for me they are 1 of 2 airlines that fly direct from Orlando...but lately I prefer going to Miami or even the dreaded Atlanta just to avoid them. I do like Virgin but from here it is like the Kiddy Express as they offer better group rates and tours to Disney! I like kids but after 2 weeks at DW they are all wound up and whiney on the way home!!And the Pluto's fill the overheads!!

I flew Seattle / London / Amsterdam / London / Geneva / London / Seattle on BA just last month. I had a great experience (except for the fact that they won't hardly answer their telephone, I agree with that complaint!). Good ticket price, good service, OK food, on-time flights.

BA also used terminal 4, by the way.

Boo ,Jody and I are probably spoiled by the old days..when flying BA or I go so far back I still call it BOAC even economy was a treat! The phones were answered, the plane clean, the attendents willing and friendly, the food good just all round excellent service.
