Taste of London festival
My husband and I will be in London in June. I just saw a mention of the Taste of London festival, which will be in Regents Park while we are there. Does anybody have any experience or knowledge about this event?

I've seen menus for this in past years and it looked really fabulous (lots of scandi cuisine, upmarket street food, and high end restaurants doing tasters from stalls at the event). I did find some online reviews last year however, which criticised the organisers, saying it was too crowded and less tickets should have been sold, and also that there were less freebies and discounted goods than in previous years, as well as the purchased menu items being a bit disappointing in terms of portion size. I'm keen to try it too but am wavering a bit...

Well I'm not a fan of this type of event (if I put out this money, I want to sit down! not be part of a huge crowd) or of "celebrity chefs" - if it were me, I'd save the L's and just go to one of the food markets around the city like Boroughs Market. Free samples - too many choices but YOMV.
