Tarragona for 2days
First trip there & Staying in Astari Hotel
Plan to catch train from Barcelona Roundtrip
Would appreciate any/all suggestions:
Getting there, What to do, Where to eat, etc.

We visited for a day... a nice spot.
The train ride takes an hour...you (kind of ) walk up to town from the train station.
.on our return ,the train was packed
with students going back to Barcelona from other towns ( it was Sunday ).

We were younger and wilder back then in 1987 when I last was in Tarragona, then it was just another great stop on the first serious several weeks long trip to Spain, including Barcelona and the Basque Country. Kind of got stuck in the Basque Country for some 15 years after that ;-)
