As for the paragraphs - I was focussing on what the OP said in one sentence!

The weather can be very variable so keep hikes in flux - you may be able to do higher ones if weather is warm and dry.
The Schilthorn - some easy nice walks possible on that jaunt.
Take train to Lauterbrunnen then cable way straight up cliff to Grutschalp - if nice day do the short few-mile stroll along cliff's edge (safe) to Murren - take able to The Schilthorn - now if into some more serious hike walk back down to Murren from here but initial descent from Schilthorn seemed dicey to me and at that time perhaps icy but from Murren there is an easy walk on paved paths down to Gimmelwald, the farming hamlet with stupendous views all around - take cable way as it plunges down to Lauterbrunnen Valley and then another easy walk - few miles along stream to Trummelbach Falls - the water cascade and a drain of Jungfrau glaciers inside a cliff - walkways and rain gear provided let you see it up close - then short walk to Lauterbrunnen.
So 3 easy walks that probably can be done anytime with good weather.

It was provided when I was there in 2012. But now yes sites say bring your own or get wet if you want to get up close. If you have a Swiss Pass it will cover entry fee as it does to hundreds of Swiss sights. If you don't want to walk from Stechelberg the postal bus will stop near the falls, a short walk from Lauterbrunnen. Certainly one of the most unique things I've seen.

Falls are about a 50mns walk from the Lauterbrunnen station. Bus takes 20mns. There is a bus stop right at the entrance to the parking lot of the falls. Note that they are not included on the Swiss Travel Pass and last year the entrance fee was 11frs. And yes - you will get wet!
