Switzerland (and a bit of Italy) trip report
#22
(husband declared the forecast ‘fake news’)
Still laughing over that one
I'm so glad you enjoyed Sils and had the opportunity to try the
pizzocheri, nusstorte and Bündner Gerstensuppe.
And Solgio - love it there!
And snow! A real bonus for Aussies, yes?
Thank you for taking the time to post such a comprehensive read - I am taking notes - St Ursanne is completely new to me and sounds wonderful.

Just now saw your post Adelaide! Have only just skimmed your TR-so glad you got to experience SOLOTHURN. And I have had St.Ursanne on my short list for years...it is a definite destination NOW, after your report! Can't wait to finish reading..thanks!

Thanks for your comments, massimop and kja, and mokka for helping me find Solothurn. Phillyfan, I must have looked at hundreds of photos of Wengen before our trip, but it still makes you gasp when you finally see it in person.
We have had an eventful week home as we now have a puppy (toilet training while jetlagged )
New Zealand again, Mel, excellent! I'll have another report to store for my eventual trip.

Thank you. What a wealth of information. I am planning a September trip which will include some of the places you visited. Just bookmarked most of the links you included for planning.
Thank you again for this wonderful and informative trip report.

Found it! Gorgeous photos, wow. I love the quiet little areas you found up at the northern end of Lago di Como. I don't think I can squeeze that in on my upcoming trip, which is brief, but someday. Looks just so quiet and beautiful. My head is quite turned now: Bergamo what?
Interesting perspective from the young Romanian woman you met in Bergamo.
I will have to go back up and read the Switzerland bits now.
