Swiss Bed & Breakfasts?
Seeing all the **** hotels on the internet, I wonder if there are some good bed & breakfasts that Fodorites can endorse from their experiences in Switzerland.
Having stayed in B&Bs and/or their equivalents in many other European countries, we like the way we get to meet the people.

Sorry no personal experience with a specific B&B. But you can find & book one throughout the country at:
www.bnb.ch
Then you may be able to find a review of one that you've chosen.
Good luck!

I have aquaintances who own a B&B in Steinen, Switzerland. They are doing very well and it's usually fully booked. The B&B is an old farm house that's recently been renovated.

We've had good experiences at http://www.sunnydays.ch/e/index.html in Unterseen.
Upstairs rooms with balcony are the best. Their breakfasts are great too.

We stayed in only B&Bs on our Swiss trip - due to budget constraints. We had no problems with any but some were better than others. I found them all at the site mentioned above -www.bnb.ch I'm sure you'll have no problems in being able to accommodate your trip with B&Bs.
