We've eaten at the most recommended sushi bars in Paris, Vienna, and Brussels, and all three were...ok. Good but not spectacular and very expensive when compared to similar sushi bars in the U.S. Generally, sushi at the better sushi bars on the East Coast is better than sushi bars in Europe and sushi bars in the Pacific NW beat European sushi bars by a mile (and cost a LOT less). If you still want to do sushi in Paris, a couple of questions: what kind of atmosphere do you want? More formal, or casual, conveyor belt still like the Lo Sushi off the Champs Elysees? Does the price matter?

We don't really care about so much about price as much as we care about freshness, and selection. I realize it's not like Seattle, but after 2 weeks of rich, saucy, euro-cusine we will be needing some raw fish and rice. Isn't there a Nobu? Thanks!
