i am going to be in europe this summer and will be traveling to a lot of places by myself to meet with friends that are all over europe. does anybody have any suggestions for a twenty year old female traveling by herself?

Pack light, having one or two small bags that you can easily manage on your own makes things easier.

Being solo, make especially certain your passport, paperwork, finances are safe and in good order.

I like to have a paperback novel along for plane or long train rides.

Advice depends on where you are going really. The obvious still applies: watch safety issues the same as you would at home. If I were you, I would try to stay in hotels / hostels that are popular with back packers, or in resorts with lots of young people as you will easily meet people.

Make a photocopy of your passport & credit cards (with their contact phone numbers) & leave a copy at home & also pack copies in a separate place just in case you lose any of them.
