Suggestions for England travel in Nov.
We are going to England from Paris and will be in London for about 4 days. We would like to spend three or four days touring England. Should we try to do this on our own or book a tour? Where should we go? Thanks

Don't book a tour as it is just throwing money away. england is very easy to sort out for yourself - there's no language barrier for a start.
What sort of thngs are you after? Histotric stuff? Theatre? Jellied eels?

Perhaps it would be a good idea to stick to London,Kent,Brighton areas as you only have a short time. There are some very pretty little towns along the coast. Normally I would suggest the Cotswolds, but with the flooding being so bad - goodness knows what the situation will be in November. If you went west from London with a hire car, you could explore Devon and Cornwall.

We like history, architecture, art
(though we do get overwhelmed with too much museum walking) and we love good food, but not eels! Please make your suggestions- I was interested in the Brighton comment as I have a friend who lives near there. Thanks
