Suggested iPhone Apps for Paris

DD and I will be leaving for Paris in a couple of weeks. She has an iPhone - I believe it is a 3, and would like some suggestions on apps she should download icw our trip.Things like the metro and bus maps, restaurant apps, sightseeing apps, translators, would be helpful and anything else you can think of. We will be in Paris for 10 days with a couple of day trips to the countryside. Thanks!

I've found Google Translate to be very helpful. If you like pastries/sweets you may want to check out David Lebovitz's Paris Pastry App. Here is a link to his blog article about the app:

I found Paris2Go extremely helpful. It downloads all the information to your phone, so you don't have to use data to use the maps or site info.

The best iPhone app is "The Food Lovers Guide to Paris" by Patricia Wells.

You can also try "Paris à la seconde info" (in French only).

And of course Fodor's Paris Guide app.

I'd downloaded the David Lebovitz app and the RATP app which both look very helpful.

Will you have free WiFi, or do you intend to pay cellphone data charges for all the app use?

When I was in Paris, I used Google Maps to get from point to point, they are simple in use and without surprises. But my favourite iphone app in Paris was this audio guide - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/audi...on/id474786086
it was convenient that he didn't ask to connect to the Internet and this saves me from roaming fees while I was abroad
