Hey - I just saw this thread for the first time today.
I was indeed on vacation in the Dordogne region of France from about August 25 to Sept 25. If anyone sent me an e-mail before about Sept 5th, it probably aged-off my "new mail" before I got a chance to review all my e-mails when I returned.
Anyhow, if anyone wants a copy of my Italy, Provence, Languedoc, Normandy & Brittany, or my short Alsace itineraries, e-mail me at [email protected] to get a copy (request which one(s) you want). I am in the process of updating my Dordogne itinerary, and should finish by Jan 20 (in-laws arrive soon and our friends who have a house in Italy will be visiting us for a week after new years).

Hi Stu...thank you for sending me your Tuscany itinerary last week which will be very helpful to us for our trip in May. I very much look forward to your Dordogne trip report as that will be our next European adventure after Tuscany. It appears that your reports have become very valuable information to a number of people and I wanted to personally thank you for sharing.

Stu, I'd love a copy of your Tuscany drive tips and anything else regarding Italy.
I have a week's rental for next October and am also interested in train trips to Rome and Venice from Florence.
