Strike Germany Lufthansa

Just got this today, didn't find anything on the forum - sorry if info already posted.
If not, well pay attention.

We inform you that Lufthansa pilots have called a strike for Tuesday, September 8th.

We recommend travellers to check their flight schedules with the airline company before going to the airport.

Your BCD Travel consultants are at your disposal for any further information or any changes to your travel itinerary.

Nicht zicher das Leute hier interesse dafur haben, aber... :

We inform you that Lufthansa pilots annonce a prolongation of the strike until tomorrow, Wednesday 9 September, midnight.

84 long-haul flights are cancelled this Tuesday and the short- and medium-haul flights will be impacted tomorrow. All Germanwings flights will be concerned too.

We recommend travellers to check their flight schedules with the airline company before going to the airport.

Nicht sicher, dass....

Thanks for the warning. I could have used one a couple of years ago when my flight was cancelled and nobody would schedule a new flight for me since I was using frequent flyer miles.

However, Lufthansa, ever efficient, provided vouchers for a hotel and for dinner, since I couldn't get a flight rebooked until the next day.

Sicher und dass...
Mein Deutsch ist eine Mischung von Niederlandisch ... and a little bit of German. That is ok for talking but I get easily spotted when writing, as you did.

I should have sent it to my colleague, he didn't see it and is stranded somewhere in barbarian country (over the Rhine, you know, in deep and dark forests...).

Thanks for your posts, I'll keep posting when I get these warnings.
