We will be in Stockholm for 2 days, 2 nights in late June-
I need suggestions on "don't miss"
Looking for a hotel around $350 nite if there is such a thing. We do like our 5 stars!
We arrive at the ARN airport and leave on a cruise 2 days later. We probably will not have a car.

stay away from the center ( near the train station).
loved Vasa museum, a view from the Museum of Modern Art, the City Hall and the view from its garden, all of Gamla Stan (Old Town).
It is a beautiful city!

I agree - Vasa museum is not to be missed.

I am sure you love your five stars and according to Trip Advisor there are some fairly decent hotels in the city. However, I wasn't all that impressed with some of the reviews but that's just me.

I will be there next July and contrary to Nbujic's recommendations, I am puprosely staying close to the central station so I have an easy walk to the Arlanda Express early in the morning.

hi, one of the subway lines goes right into the central station, from there you can take a train to the airport. I did in July - no problem.

If you are looking at 5 star hotels most likely you can afford a taxi to the station ( airport is too far).
There is a Hilton overlooking Gamla Stan; several hotels are recomended by Fodor's .

Hotel Rival in Sodermalm would be my choice! Stayed there last New Years and had a wonderful time....
