Still raining in Europe?????

I've been checking weather.com daily since the first of March, and EVERY day it has shown rain (not just a chance of) for Zurich, Strasbourg, and Salzburg. Still, the 10-day forecast is for rain every day. Aren't you getting a break yet?! Does the sun come out from time to time? Our long-awaited trip is only 12 days away, and we're sure hoping to see some blue skies...I'm sure you are all fed up with the rain, too.

Noah, It has been a gorgeous weekend here in Switzerland. True, it has rained a lot in March but Legend says that if April showers come in March then it promises to be a wonderful Spring and Summer in the Alps.

The sun is shining; the birds are singing, the flowers are growing; and whilst we expected all this about a month ago, it's none the less welcome now

Regarding Belgium, I agree with the birds and the flowers but I don't see the sun. Temperatures are OK, around 16°C.

Shhh, don't breathe, but here in the North of England the sun is shining, the daffodils are blooming on every grass verge and I can hear a robin, a thrush and a blackbird singing their hearts out. We are promised a mini heatwave in May so here's hoping.
