St. Andrews to Edinburgh Airport

What is the most efficient route by public transport from St. Andrews to EDI area hotels. I would prefer the train but would take a bus. Thanks.

Take the X59 bus from St Andrews to the Ferrytoll park and ride stop just north of the Bridge/Forth. There is an airport bus from there.
