Traveling early Nov 2009 - looking for suggestions for hotels in Madrid. Seville & Granada.
Driving from Madrid to Seville to Granada back to Madrid. Thanks

One of Two:
we like Las Casas de Juderia in Sevilla...stayed there twice, and would return. In the middle of Barrio Santa Cruz, walking distance to most sites in town. Even during Holy Week four years ago the rates were not bank-breakers, and fair...don't know abut now with the daily dashing of the dollar...the web pages show about €200. Trip Advisor rates it #6 among a few hundred Sevilla lodgings.

Depending on your budget, in Madrid I recommend Hotel Prado or Villa Real. They are both close to each other, Prado is cheaper but very acceptable. Modern bathroom and good size rooms.

In Seville hotels are expensive but I've had great experiences at Hotel Murillo. In Granada Hotel Puerta de las Granadas and in Madrid Hostal Macarena. These are all in great locations. If money is no object you can ignore this.

It seems that www.solmelia.com has extended their prepay bargains around Spain for at least another day..hopefully longer!

Amazing prices. I will be staying at the 4* Menfis for 65 euros in October, only because my friend preferred to spend a litle more than the 45 euro 3* tryp gran via down the street!

Hope this helps someone

Also, if you join their "mas" club ( free) you get breakfasts two for one.. not bad, among other perks.
