My wife and I are just retired and planning a trip through southern Spain and want to end up in France. After a bunch of moving we would really like to stay in one spot in Southern France. This will be around mid April. We would like a medium sized city that would have music/markets and restaurants and also quick train rides to beaches etc. We think Montpellier would be one location and would love ideas on others. Thanks
