Sorrento

If I am staying in Sorrento and have a flight from Naples that leaves for Rome at 6:50 am will there be a shuttle bus or train that runs from Sorrento to Naples early enough for me to make it to Naples in time to catch my flight?

First train to Naples is at 5am and takes one hour, then you need a taxi to the airport. First Curreri shuttle leaves between 6 and 6:30 and that takes just over an hour. You will need to hire a private transfer.

Thanks. Private transfer being a taxi? How long would that take and what is the approximate cost?

A private transfer is either a car or van. There are many companies in Sorrento with different rates. Google - transfers Sorrento airport

Hi AUtig - Is there any particular reason you're flying to Rome? It's quicker and cheaper by train ...

A taxi/limo transfer to Naples airport will cost € 80-100 at that time in the morning, I think.

Here are some Sorrento-based limo companies you could contact for a quote:

www.francescomarrapese.com
www.cuomonet.it
www.seesorrento.com
www.tourofitaly.com
www.sorrento.it
www.sorrentolimo.com
www.admlimousines.com

Alternatively by train Sorrento-Rome would cost about € 30.
By bus (Marozzi) it's about € 20

Hope this helps ...
