Hi everyone, OP here. Not sure who is going to see this message given that this thread is from a year and a half ago but I thought I might just let people know how my trip ended up going. First off, I took everyone's advice and completely cut down the itinerary. We started off our trip in London, spending 7 full days in the city with a few day trips out to Windsor, Oxford, and Cambridge. On day 8 we took the Eurostar to Paris where we had 3 days to explore on our own before beginning a 14 Cosmos Grand Tour of France. The tour took us to Rouen, Honfleur, Caen, Normandy, Bayeux, Mont St Michel, Angers, Loire Valley, Poitiers, La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Dordogne, Rocomadour, Toulouse, Carcassone, Nimes, Pont-du-Gard, Avignon, Arles, Aix en Provence, French Riviera, Grasse, Lyon, Beaune, and back to Paris for a few more days. I know it sounds like a lot to pack into 14 days but the tour was amazing and the group was filled up with older people aged 50+ so the pace was manageable (and my mum made a few good friends). From Paris we flew to Berlin where we spent 3 nights before we got the train to Prague (via a quick stop in Dresden). From Prague we trained to Vienna, then Budapest, Munich, Venice, Florence and finished our trip in Rome. We had 3 nights in each city to give us enough time to get a good appreciation of the place. We all had an amazing time. My mum was in a panic before we left home because she'd never been on a big trip for this long before and almost wasn't going to come but she was in her element the whole time and didn't want to come home. Also, to those who were worried my boyfriend would dump me... we actually got engaged at the Natural History Museum in Vienna and he's now my husband Thank you to everyone who gave me advice on my original itinerary (I honestly don't know what I was thinking!) Our trip ended up being absolutely incredible and we all just had such an epic adventure!

Hi cassie15490, thank you for reporting back, we're definitely reading ^^
Congratulation for you and your husband for the engagement and the new life together.
I'm glad you had a great trip, and our advice contributed something to it. We always appreciate it when the OP come back to write.
