Snorkling Greek Islands
Been watching You Tube and people snorkling on various islands so am asking about ones I will visit
Already have folks explaining May water temperature so will have to try before of course anyways
First Ios and Mylopotas--good or another beach on Ios
Secondly staying Perrisa on Santorini--ok or another beach to try
Lastly Naxos staying Agia Anna--this ok or another to try
Thank you for any help on this

I always bring my snorkel & mask to Greece, and find that beaches with rocky edges are the best, because they offer shelter for fish. The long sandy beaches like the popular ones at Naxos are almost barren of sea-life. That said, the water is so clear that visibility is almost unlimited.
I've snorkelled on the Great Barrier Reef myself, and agree there is no comparison, but still enjoy snorkelling in the Cyclades.
