Skip Germany because of E-Coli?

Hello,

Desperately need some advice. I'm due to go to Munich for a few days next week. Now i'm really unsure about it because of the E-coli outbreak. How badly has Munich been affected by the outbreak, and should i think about cancelling this trip altogether?

Cheers,

Of course not. That's sheer paranoia. You can get e-coli just about anywhere, and it's been a couple of weeks since they figured out what's going on - google is your friend for updates.

I don't think you should cancel. The rate of infections has fallen quite sharply since the peak at the beginning of June. You would be extremely unlucky to pick up the bug - statistically it would be extremely unlikely.

Road traffic in Germany kills 4,000 people per year. Would you cancel your trip because of that?

There was no e-coli outbreak in Munich and the issue has been resolved where it happened.
