Six Days on Amalfi Coast....what should we definately include???

We are getting married in Positano. We will arrive in Positano on Sunday afternoon and be there until Saturday. Can anyone provide advice on things we should not miss???? Help us plan our itinerary.... There are a few things that are fixed because of the wedding....see below:

Arrive Sunday afternoon from Florence
Monday morning: tie up wedding loose ends (rest of Monday free)

Tuesday: free
Wednesday: free
Thursday: free
Friday: Wedding at 11am. Reception luncheon (just the two of us). Evening free
Saturday: depart for Spoleto

We are thinking about 1 day trip to Capri for sure. I also am interested in spending a day in Agropoli (my great grandmother was raised there before coming to the US). What else would you NOT miss if traveling there???

The view from Le Sirenuse
Villa Cimbrone gardens in Ravello
Pompeii and the Arch. Museum in Naples
Shopping in Sorrento (inlaid wood items)
Amalfi (can see on the way to Ravello)

I think the Emerald Grotto is a joke, but it is a lovely area to see.

Wishing you all the best!

Lunch at Hotel Poseidon ( great food, amazing views)

Dinner at one of the restaurants in Montepertuso, a small mountain village 15 min. by car from Positano ( IL RITROVO, DONNA ROSA, there are others, too) Some of the restaurants arrange transportation for guests. Have your hotel check ahead about this. Also try to go at dusk so you can catch the wonderful views from the restaurant!

Guided private boat tour of Capri. Can either arrange this through one of the tour desks at the dock in Positano, or, once you get to Capri, can be arranged with one of the boat captains at Marina Grande. You can also hire one of the boat captains in Positano to take you on a tour of private coves in the area.

Also, if you're interested in ceramics, there's a very good shop directly across the street from Le Sirenuse. I think it's called "CERAMICHE ARTE." We bought quite a few things from them, which all arrived without a hitch in the U.S. a few weeks later!

Congratulations, and have a great trip!

If you're going to Agropoli you could easily combine it with PAESTUM.

I would definately try to fit in at least a day in Ravello, to see the Villa Cimbrinoe and Villa Rufalo, especially since you're getting married on this trip. I can't think of a place more romantic than the gardens of Villa Cimbrione.
