Hi, <BR> <BR>Anyone have any idea how to reach the centre of Pisa and Siena from Pisa train station and Siena train station respectively? <BR> <BR>If by bus, what buses to take and what is the cost?

In Pisa you can walk from the train station about 30 minutes and see the leaning tower (or else find a bus to take you there). If you walk to the leaning tower, there are signs that have a picture of the tower and an arrow. Just follow the signs and you will end up at the tower (remember how to get back to the station!). <BR> <BR>Maybe someone else can give you the specifics as to which bus to take. the last time that I was there i took bus number one and it ran to the leaning tower.

Hello Axio, <BR> <BR>Yes - I took Bus No.1, too, from opposite Pisa station (cross the road) to Piazza del Duomo/Campo dei Miracoli. <BR>Buy your tickets before boarding. You can buy them at the station newspaper kiosk or bar, - 1500 LIRE, I think. <BR> <BR>Siena station is outside town, -there's a connecting bus into the centre. Again, buy tickets before boarding. <BR>(If you're coming from Florence it's easier and quicker to get to Siena by bus than train) <BR> <BR>Hope this helps ... <BR> <BR>Steve

Steve - Is the Florence bus station near the train station, and do you know if they run all day Saturday and Sunday?
