1970: A Pound a night for a hotel room in Earl's Court, shared bath, toilet paper like waxed paper, those huge pennies, etc., etc.

Back in the 70's the Great British Heritage Pass (called "Open to View" back then) cost $13 for 30 days.

One more, in 1976 a London Red Bus Pass was 10.50 GBP a month-----travel anywhere, on any bus, changing as often as you like and going as far as you like. An annual pass was 110 GBP.
