Short Cruises on the Mediterranean
Last winter I came across ( I THOUGHT) information on a short cruise company that did 2-3 night trips on the Mediterranean. This was not a large cruise ship company like Costa or Princess, more local, and with older ships. I have looked and looked and am unable to find this again. Does anyone have any information on something like this ? I posted this earlier with the wrong country as a tag...sorry for any confusion...Thank you very much !

Kristjan,
Post your cruise questions on the cruise forum or on cruisecritic.com. Also, look up cruises on vacationstogo.com. Then ask questions about those cruises on the cruise forum or cruise critic. There are several reputable companies that do Med cruises and a big variety of itineraries.

Kristjan, One bit of info for you. You can sometimes depart a cruise early. Twice, we have left cruises early. Both times they were ending in Rome. We have been to Rome, so got off a day early to see a different city. Once we got off a day early in Naples and flew home for an event. Just something to know if you find a cruise you like, but it is a day or two longer than you have time for. The cost is the same, but it might be worth it.

Moomer11, don't know of any actual cruise ships that would do one or two night trips, but there are big ferries that go from Barcelona to Genoa, perhaps Rome and from Bari to Greece, and some that go to places in Croatia, etc. some are overnight and have cabins. Google ferries from Bari to Greece for a sample and names of some of the companies like Blue Star. I think there is one that does a loop from Spain to Italy and you can get on for just a stop or two. Some look like ships, but are ferries. Hope that helps.
