OK, it's not exactly in Paris, but Troyes is an hour and a half away by train, probably an hour by car. It has a couple of real outlet malls one on the north side:

And another one on the south side:

I discovered this information when I went to Troyes in April 2002. I'm not a shopper so I didn't go to see what they were like.
Unfortunately the Marques Avenue web site looks to be French only. However it shows a location at l'Ile St. Denis for Paris with 112 stores. St Denis is north of Paris and is known for the cathedral that's a burial place for French royalty. The "ile" (island) is to the west of St Denis in the Seine river and must be where the outlet center is.
I'm curious to see if anyone has been to any of these.

Hi
I've been to the Marques Avenue mall in St Denis. It's mainly high-street stores like Nafnaf, Aigle, Quiksilver, etc, plus is quite good for men's suits and shirts. Not so sure whether it's great for shoes.
I translated a long brochure on La vallée shopping village, although I've never been there, and it seems that it's much more aimed at the luxury market, with high-end brands.
As Indytravel says, if you're really dedicated to shopping then head to Troyes as it's famous for its outlet villages.
