There are three Sheratons--the Sheraton on the Place Rogier (probably the one you mean), the Sheraton Four Points, and the Sheraton Airport. The Sheraton/Place Rogier is near the Rue Neuve shopping area and the City 2 shopping center; for good restaurants you would need to walk a bit or take a cab. It's not my favorite neighborhood, rather sterile and commercial, mobbed on week-ends. The Four Points is near the Avenue Louise, which is a more upscale area, more upmarket shopping (designer stores) and within walking distance of the Chatelain/Ixelles restaurants. The Sheraton Airport is *at* the airport, but that's probably not the one you were referring to.
BTilke (Brussels)

Hi

Btilke is correct.

But don't dismiss the airport hotel. It is in the terminal building (OK, part of the adjacent multi storey parking !)

You can walk from the plane to this Sheraton, and the train to downtown Brussels is below the hotel.

If you want a quiet meal, take a taxi to Zaventem village, Woluwe, or Chausee Louvaine.

Peter
http://tlp.netfirms.com

We id not stay there but I must concur with Graziella that it looks wonderful. As we were walking back from the Grande Place, I noticed it and went in to inquire about rates because it looked so nice. I thought it was more expensive than that but I guess it depends what time of year you are looking at.

We stayed at the Hotel Welcome which I saw recommended on this forum. It is a little bit further from the Grande Place but I loved it.
