Shakespeare London

Another question? Is the Complete Works of Shakespeare funny and worth seeing?

I'm going to London in 39 days(!) and I would like to know where The Complete Works of Shakespeare is playing. I haven't heard about this.

It plays at the Criterion which is at Piccadilly Circus. But don't buy your tickets there - go over to Leicester Square (just a short walk) and buy them at TKTS. They will be 1/2 price.

Actually there are lots of various ticket offers in tourist brochures and scattered around the city where you can take the coupon to the box office and not only get half price tickets for upcoming performances (not limiting you to same day purchase) but save any booking fee as well. Last year I even downloaded such a coupon off the internet (sorry, I can't remember what site).

If you wait till you get there, can you usually get good seats? I will be there 2/15-2/18

I saw it two weeks ago and thought it was terrific. Very funny. Buy the program, which is also very funny. I got our tickets at the half-price TKTS booth on Leicester Square and we had excellent seats.

Blondiepopo, we got our tickets the day of the show. The show has been running quite a while, so decent seats are usually available right before the performance.

Yes--this show is SO FUNNY! Don't miss it. Do as others have suggested and buy your tickets once you're over there. We found a buy one, get one free ticket deal in a magazine and all the seats are pretty good since the theater is small. This show is hilarious and you will not go away disappointed.

You can also buy tickets thru www.officiallondontheatre.co.uk and look at the "Get into London Theatre" offer. We recently got great seats for this show for L10 if I remember correctly, tickets arrived within a few days of order, and no shipping charge.
