Does anyone know of a tour company that can provide upscale, self-guided walking/hiking trips in Province? We will be 2 couples who have hiked (self-guided)in Switzerland and next fall (2001) want to do a similar thing in Province. Any suggestions or information will be greatly appreciated.

They offer lots of options -- walking, bicycling, short stays, and driving. Actually it is Alternative Travel Group in Oxford. They have a new web site <BR>www.atg-oxford.co.uk. They have organized walking tours and also self-guided tours that they call footloose. We just got back from a Spanish footloose trip to Garrotxa and had a great time. They took care of all the details (maps, hotel bookings and baggage transport) and all we had to do was get from place to place. It was a wonderful experience and we plan on doing another trip next spring. They have a Provence trip. If you have any more questions let me know.
