Season's Greetings to all
This may be more suitably placed in the Lounge, but I know some Fodorites don't stray there. I would like to thank everyone who has provided earthy and worthy advice to me and everyone else during this past year. This worldwide community of travel enthusiasts is overwhelmingly positive and enthusiastic. It provides welcome respite from my sometimes routine daily activities. Fodor's stimulates travel ideas and in it's own way (I hope) brings peace and understanding among the residents of the earth by allowing us to more fully understand and appreciate our differences.
I wish all of you a safe, happy, rewarding and peaceful holiday season in the coming weeks.

Wishing you and your family, teacherCanada, a beautiful holiday season and a joyous and healthy 2010! And a huge thank you for your contributions on Fodor's, I have always so loved and enjoyed your trip reports. May there be many more over the coming years. And I believe the next trip will be to Egypt if my memory is correct. Your students are so fortunate to have you in their lives! Because of you I am sure that many young people will go forth in life with a better understanding and appreciation of our world.

LoveItaly - thank you for your kind comments. My access to Fodor's has most certainly improved the itineraries of our school excursions and our family trips.
We (our school group of 49 people) travelled to Egypt in March 2009. Our next organized trip will be in March 2011 when we shepherd 41 enthusiastic youth to Paris, Florence, Rome and then a 5 day cruise in the Aegean Sea. I'm already getting excited.

A very special warm greeting to everyone who attended the Toronto GTG in September. Thank you Moolyn and Kodi for your planning skills. For those who were not able to join us in 2009, there will likely be a chance to chat, break bread and sup libations in 2010.

Oh my, I missed your Egypt trip report, teacherCanada. Well all year I have been feeling a day late and a dollar short. And of course, I now remember your next trip will be to Europe and than the cruise as the light bulb just went off regarding your inquirying about a possible charter flight from Europe. Well one evening I will find your Egypt trip report and enjoy reading it. My best to you and yours.
