I put stuff about the Edinburgh shows on here before. I'll try and find it tonight and top it for you.

In Oban there's a place called Mctavish's Kitchen, which does live Scottish entertainment every night. It's very touristy. i've never been, but it's had some great crits in here in the past

Patricia

The place in Oban is McTavish's, as the previous poster said. I mistakenly said Jamies, which is on Edinburgh. We went to the one in Ft. William! Had a lot of fun!http://www.mctavishs.com/oban.html

For Oban Guest house......
http://www.argyllinternet.co.uk/ronebhal/index.html
http://www.argyllinternet.co.uk/glenburnie/

For Perth, We stay at this small hotel, and it wonderful, and in the best setting. Private walks along the river, filled with gardens. The owners have changed, but I have still sent people to them. Perhaps send an email, and they will give you the information.

http://www.sunbankhousehotel.activehotels.com/SMH

Hope some one of these works out for you!
Maggie
While in Edinburgh, an excellent dinner and show is at the Thistle (used to be called the King James Thistle, I believe they've changed the name of it now). Bill Torrence is the "star" of the show, which includes singing, dancing, (the aforementioned dinner) and Haggis tasting!!! I've seen the show twice and I believe they've been doing this for over 10 years there - would heartile recommend checking it out.
