Scottish Citilink Buses-USA Phone Number?

I need help getting ahold of Scottish Citilink to have some questions answered and to make some reservations. The phone number listed in their website is not accessible from the USA; they haven't answered my email of 2 weeks ago; they haven't answered my fax of 1 week ago. My trip is too close for me to try getting an answer via post. Does anyone know of a number I can call that is reachable from the USA? Thank you.

I don' have a US number but their UK number is 0990 898989 or 0990 505050. Yellow pages have them as 08705 505050

I may have spotted the problem- that's a cheap rate number which may not apply outside the UK.

They are owned by National Express who advertise a national number of 08705 808080 (that's also a dodgy number)and you may get them through your National Express who sell their passes on 540 298 1395 or through British Travel International on 1 800 327 6097

Hope that helps

Thank you, Sheila, it did help! Even though British Travel International wasn't able to help me, and I was unable to get through to the National Express numbers (the 0990 898989 never answered, 0990 505050 didn't go through and 540-298-1395 was always busy), it gave me the idea to look on the National Express website (which I never would have done, since I had no idea they owned Citilink). I got the number of their national headquarters in the UK, called them and was able to get a "normal" number for Citilink in the UK. I just got off the phone with Citilink and everything's handled now, so thank you!

The National Express man was extremely nice, especially considering I was calling at 10:00 pm UK time -- I figured I would just be getting an after-hours recording telling me what time I could call back, but I got someone working late who very kindly took the time to look up the information for me (and who even sang me a little music on holds while he was looking it up! -- kinda corny, but still adorable!).

P.S. In case anyone else outside the UK ever needs their regular phone numbers, here they are:

National Express: 0121 625 1122
Citilink: 0141 332 9644
