Just a quick comment /minor tweak: I'd skip the H-o-H-o bus unless you just want an outdoor 'time filler' on Tuesday. Instead I'd spend arrival day walking around - maybe either strolling down the Royal Mile (not heavy duty/indoors sightseeing) or visiting the Botanic Gardens or Princes Street Gardens, a nice outdoors lunch (if the weather cooperates) and an early dinner - but mainly just recovering from the jet lag with mainly outdoors and not indoor sightseeing. Then on Wed concentrate on the Castle/Whisky Centre/Royal Mile/Grassmarket/Museum of Scotland. Friday do New Town / Dean Village / Botanic Gardens (if not on arrival day) /Royal Yacht Britannia

Thank you Janis J.
We need to make hotel reservations for Dublin. We will not have a car. Thoughts on hotels, Morrison, Hilton Dublin and Conrad Dublin;. Open to others as well. Could not have planned this trip without your help. Thanks.

Happy to help -- haven't stayed in Dublin in over a decade so can't help much there.

Hi Poolqueen,

Your itinerary for Ireland is crazy.
Way too much time in a car or bus for such a short trip.

(The bus from Cork doesn't go through the mountains, as this is an intercity bus route and not a sightseeing tour)
