Schengen Area rules post Brexit

Hello,

I am from the UK and I have been in Italy since before Brexit came into effect which means I did not get stamped upon entry, I was wondering if the 90/180 rule currently applies to me or am I able to exit at anytime since I did not get a stamp in my passport?

Thanks!

I think the common belief is they started for you Jan 1st.

The stamp is more for your benefit. They don't need to prove you're illegal. You need to prove you're legal.

Plus unless you drove or maybe took the train you're likely in the airline database
