Anyone been to San Remo Italy in August? What kind of temperatures can I expect?

i lived in San Remo for 8 months. Winters are mild, summers can be hot. Expect August to in the low to mid 30s celsius almost every day.

September is far more pleasant...

The one time I was in San Remo was in August - it was scorching. Not that nice a town, anyway...

That's why I wanted to ask people who have actually been there because a lot of the climate websites report temperatures at a maximum of around 26 degrees and I can't believe that is right for Italy in August.
