San Lorenzo Market

This might be a crazy question, but do the vendors at the San Lorenzo Market in Florence only accept cash or do some of them accept credit? Usually I think of markets as cash only, but with leather products being sold (some with high prices, I'd assume) I am thinking some might take credit cards. I know I'll be making some purchases and I want to make sure to get extra cash if I'll need it. Thanks!

oh, i LOVE that san lorenzo market.

and, yes, they do accept credit cards.

you can also bargain, and make sure to look around before you purchase. many vendors sell the same things...

have fun!!

sandyy- dina4 is correct. Bargain! I got a great purse in the San Lorenzo market. The guy wanted 60 euros and we bargained down to 25! And I think I got a great deal. That was two years ago and I still use that purse every day. Nothing like real leather and good craftsmanship.

(Do NOT buy a "knockoff" of a brand. NOT worth the money.)

Buon viaggio!!
