Rules of Conduct

Posts today seem to have been courteous so far, but lately the tone of the board has been pretty petty, rude, and boorish. Therefore, I am posting Fodors' Rules of Conduct as a reminder to all regulars, a hint to all beginners, and a warning to all nasties:

"What are the rules of conduct for using the forums?

We want our forums to be a warm and civil environment for the exchange of ideas. To that end, we request the following: Don't be rude or vulgar, don't advertise, and don't post stuff that's not yours."

Oh, and one more rule: Don't try to dictate rules of conduct. to everyone else.

Ok, you go ahead and tell that to the Fodors people -- they're their rules of conduct.

Some of the best pickpocketers are polite, friendly and kind.

The "stepford wife syndrome" seems to be alive and well.
